This Cookie Policy explains what technologies onedot6.com actually uses on your device today, and why. We keep the website deliberately quiet on this front — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
What we mean by ‘cookies’
For simplicity we use ‘cookies’ to mean any small piece of information a website stores on your device — cookies, localStorage, IndexedDB or similar. Different browsers offer these in slightly different ways.
What the public website uses
The public pages of onedot6.com do not set advertising cookies, do not use Google Analytics, and do not embed cross-site trackers. Your browser will still make normal, essential requests to load the site (HTML, images, fonts) and any content you actively interact with (for example the Instagram feed on the Home page) may load its own cookies from that third party.
What the studio dashboard uses
If you sign in to the studio dashboard at /login, your browser stores a session token locally so you don’t have to log in on every page. This is strictly functional — it is required for the dashboard to work and cannot be turned off without signing out.
Third-party embeds
The Home page embeds an Instagram feed. When it loads, Instagram (Meta) may set its own cookies on your device. That behaviour is controlled by Meta — please see Instagram’s privacy and cookie notices for details. Images shown across the site may be delivered from third-party CDNs (for example Unsplash) which record standard server-side request logs.
Your controls
You can clear or block cookies at any time from your browser’s settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to browse the public website. Blocking cookies will prevent the studio dashboard from keeping you signed in.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or non-essential tracking, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before those technologies run. The ‘Last Updated’ date at the top always reflects the current position.
