Service & Enquiry Terms

Effective 1 January 2026

Last Updated · 5 September 2026

These Service & Enquiry Terms explain what happens when you submit an enquiry through the Onedot6 website or reach out to the studio in any other way. They are a plain-language framework for how conversations begin — not a purchase contract.

01

What an enquiry is

An enquiry is any message you send us through the Contact form, the Consultation form, the Experience Centre form, WhatsApp, email or during a visit — including expressions of interest in a product, material, artwork, curation or project service. Enquiries are a conversation, not an order.

02

Submitting an enquiry is not a purchase

Submitting an enquiry does not create a purchase order, a booking, a reservation of any specific product, or a binding commitment. Nothing shown on the website is a firm offer of sale, and no price shown or discussed informally becomes binding until it is confirmed in writing.

03

What happens next

We aim to respond to enquiries within one working day. Depending on your enquiry, next steps may include a call, a studio or Experience Centre visit, a walk-through of options, a curated selection, a quotation, a scope of work, or a formal proposal. Any of these steps may be shared informally before a written agreement is drafted.

04

Products, materials and objects

Where products, materials, objects, artworks or lighting are shown, please note that: availability is subject to confirmation with the maker/atelier; pricing may be provided separately; specifications and finishes may vary; lead times are indicative only; and customisation is likely to affect pricing and delivery. Photographs are indicative and may differ from the final piece.

05

Curation and styling services

Curation, styling and design-completion services are provided under a separate engagement letter or scope of work signed by both parties. Timelines, deliverables, revisions, site visits, freight and installation are agreed in that document, not through informal messages.

06

Experience Centre visits

Experience Centre visits are by appointment. The confirmation email or WhatsApp message will contain the date, time and any preparation notes. If your plans change, please give us reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.

07

Confidentiality

We treat the details of your project as confidential. We will not publish photographs, floor plans or client details without your consent. Enquiry content is stored and shared internally only as described in our Privacy Policy.

08

No professional advice

Editorial content, Journal articles, and informal replies are shared for information and inspiration. They are not architectural, engineering, legal or financial advice. Formal design advice is provided under a signed engagement.

09

Cancellations and changes

Because nothing on the website is a firm booking, you may withdraw an enquiry at any time simply by telling us. Cancellation or change terms for confirmed orders, deposits and installed pieces are set out in the applicable proposal, quotation or engagement letter.
